Renée believes that your hair needs to speak to you and about you. It’s the greatest statement of who you are. If your goal is to go blonde, she is the one who can make that happen. Hair rehab? After finishing school in Edmonton, Renée and her best friend jumped on an airplane with one suitcase each. They moved to Vancouver with intention of fame. It was then that they started an all-girl punk band named Ten Days Late and spent all of the nineties touring in a van with 5 girls. This is where Renée got her inspiration & passion for hair. She would try to get backstage whenever she could to help with styling.
“If you could go back in time in Vancouver, 1993 was a mighty fine year. It was before Facebook, Twitter, cellphones, digital cameras, and so on. Word of mouth, posters, radio shows and newspapers helped spread the word of gigs. When you saw a women’s washroom symbol, a poster on a pole, you knew the gig to have the most fun at that weekend, was the all-girl punk band, Ten Days Late. “

Fun Fact: Renée first martini was bought for her by Ritchie Sambora as they were touring with Blink 182 and dating one of The Payolas.
